Equipment Asset Manager

Job Description:
Louis, MO Equipment Asset Manager Description: The Asset/Equipment Manager - Heavy Equipment , is responsible for the overall management of a specific group of assets namely class 8 tractors, reefers and dry vans.
Lifecycle management oversight includes, asset deployment, asset utilization, billing and adhering to preventative maintenance backlog monitoring.
Primary measures of accountability include Asset Utilization and Uptime (overall and specific to each asset).
Responsibilities: Drive continuous improvement of asset performance Assists corporate and regional management with life cycle positioning decisions, and longer term strategic placement and logistics issues.
Assist in evaluation and disposition of equipment Review utilization and suggest redeployment to maximize utilization.
Assist with movement of equipment for new locations Influences and participates in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of statistical reports related to: repairs, utilization and downtime.
Ensures adherence to goals and KPIs established for the specific asset class including utilization Keep abreast of advances and technical development within the asset categories of responsibility.
Manages and optimizes: transfers, rentals, surplus, refurbishments, growth, and replacement assets.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management Education/Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
3+ years work experience in asset management and fleet management Solid project management skills, effectively manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis.
Advanced knowledge of entire MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Critical and strategic thinker, able to grasp the big picture and translate the information into actionable activities with demonstrated results.
A "systems" and "process" thinker, with very strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to grasp how things work.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
